I'm hailing from Slovenia. I'm a licensed Tourist Guide. I have been working in tourism for 15 years and I'm more than happy, to present you wellknown and unknown corners of Slovenia. I do my best to make visitors experience Slovenia with all of their senses. The region I come from, has a rich both cultural and culinary history and friendly people. Ljubljana - the capital city of Slovenia, proud for its architecture (Jože Plečnik and Max Fabbiani), the Cathedral of St. Nicolas, Dragon Bridge, the 3 Bridges, the squares of France Prešeren (the most notable poet in a county) and of Congress (for the Ljubljana Congress back in 1821)
Postojna Cave - the most famous Carst cave in the country. You should definitely take a look
Škocjanske jame (Škocjan caves) - UNESCO heritage
Bled - famous for its lake, the island, its tourism and especially for a delicious desert - "kremšnita" (Bled creme cake)
Lipica - the stud farm with Lipica horses (the white breed coming from that area)
Slovenian Coast - the towns Koper, Izola, Piran - famous for mediterrainian architecture, many notable dishes and types of wine, nice and warm sea (also short coast line, only 42 km), one can take a bath from May to Septermber every year
sourrounding - Zagreb - capital city of Croatia, with the famous Cathedral and the Ban Jelačić square, museums, i.e. Muzej prekinutih veza (Museum of Broken Relationships), the Old town (Up and Downtown)
Krapina - wonderful museum of Krapina Neanderthals
